Our Commitment
Compeas aims for this website to conform to WCAG 2.2 Level AA, the standard referenced by the European Accessibility Act and EN 301 549. Accessibility work is ongoing, and we review the site at every major release.
What We Have Done
- Semantic landmarks (
<main>,<nav>,<footer>) and a skip-to-content link on every page. - Visible keyboard focus styles on all interactive elements.
- Text and interactive colours that meet WCAG AA contrast (4.5:1 for body text).
- Support for
prefers-reduced-motion— animations are disabled when you ask for less motion. - Alternative text on meaningful images and labels on all form fields.
- A cookie-consent banner that is keyboard-operable and available in English and Swedish.
Known Limitations
- The security white paper PDF may not yet be fully tagged for screen readers.
- Some older decorative SVG icons lack text alternatives; they are marked as decorative where possible.
